Turkey’s Iron&Steel Producers Association Members will be in ANKIROS 2010...

Getting full support of TDCU–Turkey’s Iron-Steel Producers Association, ANKIROS has shown a growing success since 1992. The exhibition has grown in parallel to the power and support of Turkish iron & steel industry and it is believed that this sector will growing faster in the following years. The visit of the TDCU members provide a high-level of satisfaction among the exhibitors and increases the number of customer’s portfolio. Turkey’s Iron-Steel Producers Association members will exhibit in ANKIROS 2010 as to show the strong relation between the association and organization, and also emphasis their full support of the show.
The Turkish iron&steel industry has a good potential of making producers of various equipment for steel industry and further metal processing regards future with optimism. According to November 2009 figures given in Turkey’s Iron-Steel Producers Association bullettin, with a 61% growth, between 2001-2008 years, world raw steel production capacity increased from 1 billion 63 million tonnes to 1 billion 713 million tonnes. Despite of the economic recession over the world, it is predicted that world raw steel production capacity will reach 1 billion 997 million tonnes with a 5,2 % growth by year which is a %16,6 growth in total. During 2009-2011, it is estimated that Turkey will have a 10 %share in increase of the raw steel production capacity in the world. According to first half of year datas, Turkey moved up to the 9th place in the world’s in 2009.

Turkish Iron & Steel industry play a fundemental role for Turkey’s overall development. ANKIROS Exhibition is a particular importance based primarily being held in the Eurasia, specifically Turkey, which is one of the most attractive areas for new investments in the sector.
